BROWN, Laura O. Rowings - Putnam

ROCKVILLE, Ind. (CNS) – Mrs. Laura O. Brown, 86, Rockville, died at 9:45 a.m. Thursday (March 20, 1969) at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Beulah Kelsheimer of Rockville Route 4. Born Feb. 11, 1883 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of William H. and Irena Wilkey Rowings. She was married April 29, 1903 to Fred L. Brown, who preceded her in death April 7, 1948. She was a member of the Rockville Christian Chruch. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Kelsheimer, Mrs. Irene Swafford of Rosedale Route 1 and Mrs. Bernice Loden of Hammond; five sons, Ralph of Coatsville Route 2, Robert of Bryant, Raymond of Rosedale Route 1, Herbert of North Salem and Hubert of Montezuma Route 1; a brother, Otis of Brazil; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger T. Rankin officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today.   --– jlr
